BOOKING & REFUND POLICY
Effective Date: June 3, 2026 | Last Updated: August 20, 2026
This Booking & Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs all Bookings made through the Court Zapper platform. This Policy is incorporated by reference into, and forms part of, the Court Zapper Host Platform Agreement and the Court Zapper Renter Assumption of Risk, Waiver of Liability, and Indemnification Agreement. This Policy applies uniformly to every Court on the Platform and is not customizable by individual Hosts. In the event of a conflict between this Policy and either Agreement regarding booking terms or refund eligibility, this Policy controls.
1. BOOKING POLICY
1.1 Weather & Safety
If conditions at the Court are unsafe or unplayable at the time of a scheduled reservation — including severe rain, lightning, or severe wind — Renter will receive a full refund. Minor weather, such as light rain or mild wind, does not qualify for a refund unless the Court is reasonably deemed unplayable.
1.2 Cancellations & No-Shows
- Cancel 24 hours or more before the reservation: full refund.
- Cancel less than 24 hours before the reservation: 50% refund.
- No-show (no cancellation, Renter does not attend): no refund.
1.3 Equipment or Facility Issues
If the Court is not as described, or is unusable due to an equipment or facility issue on the Host’s end, Renter may request a full refund. Refunds are only available if the issue prevents play — if Renter proceeds with the session despite the issue, no refund will be issued.
1.4 Group Size Changes
The reservation price is fixed regardless of how many people in Renter’s group actually attend. No adjustments are made for fewer attendees than booked.
1.5 Extending or Ending Early
If the following time slot is open, Renter may extend the Booking at the standard rate. If Renter chooses to end a session early, no credit or refund is issued for the unused time.
2. REFUND POLICY
2.1 How to Request a Refund
If Renter believes they are eligible for a refund under the Booking Policy above, Renter may submit a refund request directly through the Platform. Requests should be submitted before, during, or immediately after the scheduled session, depending on the nature of the issue. To help the Host review the request quickly, Renter should include:
- A brief description of the issue;
- Photos or other supporting evidence (if applicable), such as images of damaged equipment or facility conditions.
2.2 Request Deadlines
To be eligible for a refund, Renter’s request must be submitted within the applicable timeframe below:
- Weather-Related Refunds: Submit the request before, or as soon as possible after, weather conditions become unsafe or unplayable. Requests submitted after the reservation window has ended will not be considered.
- Equipment or Facility Issues: Report the issue immediately upon arrival and before starting the session. If Renter chooses to continue playing despite the issue, Renter will not be eligible for a refund.
- Reservation Cancellations: Cancel the Booking through the Platform before the reservation begins. Cancellations 24 hours or more before the reservation receive a 100% refund; cancellations less than 24 hours before the reservation receive a 50% refund.
- No-Shows: If Renter does not attend the reservation and does not cancel in advance, the Booking will be treated as a no-show and no refund will be issued.
2.3 Review & Approval
Every refund request is reviewed by the applicable Host to confirm it meets the requirements of the Booking Policy.
- Hosts will review and respond to refund requests within two (2) business days.
- Renter will receive an email notification once a decision has been made.
2.4 Refund Method
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used when making the Booking. Please allow five (5) to ten (10) business days for the refund to appear, depending on the bank or card issuer.
2.5 Disputes & Appeals
If a refund request is denied and Renter believes the decision was made in error, Renter may request a secondary review by contacting Court Zapper support.
- Appeal Deadline: Renter must submit any appeal within two (2) business days of receiving the refund denial.
3. ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND INCORPORATION
This Policy is incorporated by reference into, and forms part of, both the Court Zapper Host Platform Agreement and the Court Zapper Renter Assumption of Risk, Waiver of Liability, and Indemnification Agreement. By activating a Listing, Host agrees to honor this Policy for all Bookings. By completing a Booking, Renter agrees to be bound by this Policy. This Policy is presented within the Court Zapper mobile or web application and may be reviewed at any time from the Platform’s policy center.
